I had pita - meet the meat kebab, and it was very-very tasty, combination of humus, salad and meatballs was great. The service was very friendly and fast, the place is very clean.

The vibes in here were amazing: the music was great, it was very clean, the people were lovely and so fun to chat with. I was in a large group and our food still came out very fast. My falafel was still steaming—it was so fresh! The fries were well-seasoned, some of the best I’ve had so far in Amsterdam. I’m so impressed and will definitely be back.

Had the tastiest meal at La Basta tonight with my best friend. We are visiting and had the shawarma bowl, roasted cauliflower with green tahina, mixed green veg and a sabich. The food was simply wow! So fresh and delicious. Almog and his staff are super friendly and welcoming. You can see they have put in a lot of effort to create a fun and easygoing atmosphere. Highly recommend checking La Basta out!

Absolutely delicious food! We found this place by chance while walking around Amsterdam, and it turned out to be one of the best meals we had. I ordered the shawarma in pita and my partner had the meatballs — both were excellent. The service was warm and personal, they even spoke Hebrew with us, which made us feel at home. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Israeli street food!

Amazing place! We stopped by during a family trip with the kids, and everyone left super happy. The chicken shawarma in pita was fresh and delicious, the fries were perfectly crispy, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We stopped by La Basta after a museum visit and had the best shawarma and meatballs we’ve tasted in Europe. Every bite was a delight. The service was above and beyond — they spoke to us in Hebrew, gave us great travel tips, and even treated us to a glass of house wine. Thank you for an unforgettable experience! ♥

I’ve been a regular here for a few months now, and I have to say — the quality is consistently excellent. Every dish is fresh, flavorful, and reminds me of home. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. In my opinion, this is one of the best kosher restaurants in Amsterdam, and a real gem in the city overall.

Extremely DELICIOUS! Mindblowing food. I had the slow cooked rib pita, it was the best i’ve had in a long time. Also their falafel and smoked cauliflower is top notch. These guys are true artists! My friends had the kebab pita and shawarma pita, they loved it. Will be back! Authentic Israeli cuisine, very welcoming and warm staff as well!

I went to La Basta today. New kosher restaurant in central Amsterdam, just opened 3 weeks ago, it has to be one of the best kosher street restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food is insane and the staff super helpful and friendly. Def worth checking out if around Amsterdam.

Excellent food and excellent service. Very friendly servers and owner. I had the smoked short rib pita and my wife had grilled mushroom pita. The “Greens from the Field” starter was fantastic. Pita was very fresh. Definitely recommend this place.
